HFFA IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDE STATE-OF-THE-ART EQUIPMENT, LOCKER ROOM UPGRADES
Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics – the premier fitness, swimming and diving center in the region – has installed new, state-of-the-art exercise equipment and will complete major improvements to its main locker rooms this week.
The new machines from leading fitness equipment manufacturer Cybex include:
- 20 treadmills
- 6 Arc elliptical trainers
- 6 stationary bikes
HFFA also added three new weight machines, two weight stands, and five Olympic weight bars.
The Huntersville Town Board of Commissioners approved leasing the equipment for four years at a monthly cost of $3,006, which spreads the cost over several years and relieves the Town of Huntersville from a large, onetime outlay.
“As a town facility, we are serious about our responsibility to be good financial stewards, while also providing the services and equipment our members need to stay fit and maintain a great quality of life,” said HFFA Executive Director Molly Burroughs.
