SWIM - The event begins in typical fashion with the swim. The aquatic center is set up to take advantage of the 50M pool using 20 lanes, each 25Y in length. Participants will “snake” their way across the pool going up one lane and coming back in the next. Lane changes are made at the end of each lane, swimmers swim one direction in each lane, making passing very easy. Accurate swim time will seed you with swimmers of comparable speed. Swim caps are not provided, be sure to bring your own.

BIKE: The bike course is a one-loop design, moderately hilly. Roads are two lane and open to vehicular traffic but traffic should be relatively light during scheduled time.

NEW RUN: The run course is an out an back road run that loops Lake Norman Charter School.

Online registration closes on April 26, 2012 at 8:00am. On-site registration may be available during normal packet pick up hours as space is available.

There is a $12.00 fee for each non-USAT registrant.

On Saturday, April 28 we kick off the Kids Triathlon Series with Race 1 for ages 4 - 14 and a great photo opportunity for parents to cheer on their young triathletes.

Then return on Sunday, April 29 for the Huntersville Sprint open to ages 14+. Complimentary child watch will be available on Sunday for all participants so every member of the family can enjoy the race. Special ‘Family Tri’ prizes will be issued on Sunday following the Huntersville
Sprint for teams participating in
both events.
